München TT (Day 65):
While the team was still celebrating the promotion to the fifth division and/or racing in division 6 stage race Oddessey of the Oryx, TT captain Henry Meyer and some riders looking to get into shape participated in the time trial in the Bavarian capital. The 31st place of Henry was soon forgotten.
Rouen - Le Havre - Rouen (Day 70):
This was a very special day for a very special boy. Actually, he became a man that day! 22 year-old Gerben Fens rode his first race as a captain, and snatched the win right away. It was his first time in France, he didn't know the streets of Rouen. He did know they were flat though, and that always puts a smile on Gerben's face.
Niek, good for 8 podiums already this season, gave some last hints about 20k before the finishline. Ingemar, the designated final lead-out, had to let the peleton go early in the stage, feeling a bit sick. Veteran Melgaço wasn't afraid to take over his role, as he had done countless times already in his long career. He catapulted Gerben into the last straight and then there is no stopping this bullet. Confident but suprised he could raise his arms well before the finishline.
And so the team catapulted itself into division 4 after only 2 races!
